COLD WEATHER TIPS FOR TENANTS AND OWNERS: As you know by now, the weather in Hampton Roads and the surrounding region is unpredictable at best. As we prepare for another cold blast, please keep the following in mind to better prepare your residence for freezing temperatures:

-Disconnect and store any garden hoses and, if possible, shut off the water to your outdoor faucets, drain the lines, and insulate the hose bibs.

-In areas where indoor plumbing pipes run through exterior walls, take care to monitor them in the winter; during severe cold snaps, it helps to drip a main faucet during the nighttime hours to keep water moving, even slightly, through the hot and cold pipes.

-Report and seal any cracks or holes in the exterior of the home (look for areas where pipes, cable or phone lines enter the home).

-Should a water line ever freeze and burst, you will need to shut off the home's water supply immediately. Make sure everyone in your house knows where the shut off valve is located and how to use it to turn off the water.

Pet Policy:

  • Pet Application

  • Once a pet is approved, tenants must submit a one time nonrefundable pet fee of $250.00 per pet. this applies to caged pets as well as cats/dogs.
